Journal Aims and Scope

The Journal is explicitly international and multidisciplinary in scope and appeal: articles about planning and management issues in countries at various stages of social, cultural and economic development are to be welcomed, as are those directed at different levels (national, regional, local, etc.) of the health sector. Manuscripts are invited from a spectrum of different disciplines (medicine, management and social sciences), provided that these advance our knowledge and understanding of the health sector, broadly defined. The Journal thereby brings together work which in the past has been too widely scattered throughout the literature.
