Health Services Management: 28th January 2013 start
The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management provides rigorous study of health policy and health services management in the NHS of the UK in particular. It is designed especially for health service professionals – clinicians and managers – who anticipate taking on substantial management responsibilities or who hold management positions.
It provides an ideal route into health service management education for health professionals new to the management agenda, who want to acquire core learning but are not sure if they want to study to Master's (MBA) level. The programme is closely allied to the MBA (Health Executive) programme, with which it shares the taught courses. It also shares the same Programme Director, who ensures each student receives personal support and an individually tailored learning programme.
There are two routes of study – either a selection of six taught courses or three taught courses and a personal research dissertation. Students successfully completing the Diploma may opt to progress to complete the full MBA (Health Executive).
Further details are to be found on the University’s Postgraduate Courses pages.
Enquiries can be made through the Course Administrator, Melanie Shaw.
