We have a range of additional facilities to help staff and students.

Help Desk

Please feel free to ask for help from any member of staff in the Library. The main counter is always staffed and the Help Desk in the Rotunda is staffed during peak hours.

Photocopying

There are 4 black/white photocopy machines available to use at the Health Library. Users can pay via Keele Card, via NHS Library Card or with cash.

Charges: 5p per sheet.

Photocopying is also available at the Campus Library. Non-Keele users can use a guest card; please ask at the counter.

The Print & Copy shop at the Keele Student Union also offers printing and photocopying services, including a thesis binding service.

Study Facilities

There are a number of study desks available in the Rotunda at the Library. Power sockets are available for users to use with their laptops. There is also a silent study room.

Stationery Sales

The Library sells a number of useful items, including memory sticks, pens, highlighters, plastic wallets, staplers, envelops, etc. Please see the noticeboard for a full list and prices.

We also offer a binding, laminating and a colour printing service. See the noticeboard for charges.

Refreshments

Vending machines selling drinks, confectionary and snacks are available in the Clinical Education Centre. After 5:30pm and during weekends drinking water only is available.

Using Your Keele Card

You can use your Keele card at the Library to:

  • use the self-service machines
  • borrow and renew items
  • pay for printing
  • pay for photocopying

You can top-up your Keele card, using cash or a bank / credit card, via the top-up machines available in the photocopying room.
