Joining the Library
Keele Staff & Students
Keele staff and students automatically join the Library when you start at University. Your Keele card acts as your Library card. You must bring your card with you when you visit the Library, especially to take any books out. Please quote the bar code number on your card in any correspondence with the Library as this helps us to identify your record.
NHS Users
NHS users will need to complete an application form in order to join the Library. This is available from the Health Library enquiries counter. You need to bring your NHS ID badge in order for us to verify your employment. You will then be provided with a Library card which you must bring with you in order to use our services. Please quote the bar code number on your card in any correspondence with the Library as this helps us to identify your record.

NHS users who want to join the library should complete this application form and take it to the main counter at the Health Library. You will need to have some form of employment verification, such as your NHS ID card, in order for your form to be processed.
Students on Placement
Students on placement at NHS Trusts in North Staffordshire are also allowed to join the Library and can complete an application form available from the enquiries counter.

Complete this form and take it to the Health Library counter along with some form of ID such as your NHS ID card or student card.
Other Users
The Library may be available to other individual according to different circumstances. Users may request limited membership by writing to the Health Library manager. A charge is made for this service.
