Literature Searching Ebsco Databases (Keele)

This is a 2 hour course, aimed at Keele staff and students who wish to conduct health information research.

You will learn how to:

  • Clarify a search topic
  • Choose appropriate sources for searching
  • Devise search strategies
  • Search for and retrieve relevant information

  • Problems of identifying health information on the Internet
  • Formulating a clinical question
  • Evaluating and selecting databases
  • Devising a search strategy
  • Conducting a search
  • Refining a search
  • Saving, printing and emailing search results
