HES online (Hospital Episode Statistics) - provides statistics on NHS patient admissions throughout England. Data provided includes diagnosis, operations, geography, administrative details e.g. waiting time and length of stay, patient groups e.g. ethnicity, age and gender

National Statistics - official UK statistics site, providing online access to a wide range of recent statistical data gathered by the Office of National Statistics and government departments. The data is grouped by themes, including health and care, population and migration, social and welfare. Statistical tables are searchable and are also listed alphabetically
