Which journal to choose? The Impact Factor (Keele access only) - ISI Thomson Web of Knowledge, issues an annual Journal Citation Report (JCR) which compares the number of citations from each journal against the number of articles produced. The resultant impact factor is often cited on journal homepages, and provides a general indication of the quality of the publication.
