The BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme is a key educational programme offered by the School of Health and Rehabilitation.  The programme is designed to produce professionally competent practitioners who embrace patient centrality and interdisciplinarity. As a graduate of the programme you will have appropriate levels of personal and professional autonomy, underpinned by the scientific knowledge and research base of physiotherapy. You will be able to work with individuals to maximise the quality of life by promoting physical approaches optimising health, well-being and illness prevention and by maintaining, restoring and improving function (CSP 2010).

BSC (Hons) Physiotherapy

The BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy is a three year single honours programme which will, in an environment of reflection and research awareness, enable students to develop into autonomous professionals who are able to initiate and respond to change in a wide variety of settings.

 

Tuition Fees & Bursaries

Physiotherapy students can apply for a means tested bursary; there are no tuition fees payable.  Additional payments are available to students with dependents and there is also support for childcare.  Bursaries are not taxable.
