| "I've met a lot of physios since starting (employment), new and old and I honestly believe the training we received at Keele surpasses every other course that people have been telling me about. Our levels of knowedge and especially professionalism that were drummed into us over the years is phenomenally better than every other band 5s I have met so far. Our manager has vowed to only employ Keelites from now on as he is so impressed. I think that says as lot about all your guys that work so hard there, you all deserve 'gold Blue Peter badges'." During my first couple of weeks, I knew that Keele was the university for me. I receive fantastic support from the lecturers in and out of University hours. Also the staff at SHAR are very dedicated to helping you if you are struggling with anything. I am enjoying every part of my time at Keele from social to study, as everyone supports and encourages each other to perform and excel." |

There are a lot of reasons why I chose to come to the UK to study physiotherapy, mostly because of a girl who I’m now engaged to but that’s another story. The main reason I chose Keele was for the amazing campus, which to be honest probably isn’t the most important thing when choosing a university but if you've walked around the campus on a nice summer day you'll know what I’m talking about. Maybe it just reminds me of my hometown back in America as it’s set aside on the outskirts of Newcastle its kind of in a world of its own. Everyone knows everyone else through a society or sport and it makes for a wonderful atmosphere to live and study in. Oh, and the course is pretty good too! - Alex

Keele is a self sufficient campus University with a serene atmosphere conveniently situated close to M6. The woodlands, lakes and nature walks in and around the immense campus are apt for nature lovers. Keele campus is a safe, secure and child friendly environment with excellent nursery and schooling facilities nearby. I enjoy working living and raising my family on this multicultural and closely knit community which is conducive for my kid’s happy childhood and education. - Sheeba

When it came to making the decision as to which university I was going to study for my physiotherapy degree, the fact that I am mature student with two children played a principle role. I chose Keele as the vibe of the campus and warmth of the staff I encountered when I attended the open day and interview made my decision easy There are an ample number of mature students at Keele, so I often find myself meeting new friends in the coffee shops, student union or in the library, who are studying an array of subjects. Although it is great studying beside people in similar circumstances the rapport and interaction with the younger students is invaluable and entertaining, and there certainly is no partition between the young and the “slightly less young”! I know my decision to study Physiotherapy at Keele was the right one, and I am having the most positive experience I could imagine. - Veda
