SHAR's 1st Exercise Study Day
Exercise Prescription Study Day
Topics included within the day were physical activity put into context, exercise testing for exercise prescription and physiological measures for setting intensity
SHAR's first Exercise study day was successfully held on May 21st 2011. Topics included within the day were physical activity put into context, exercise testing for exercise prescription and physiological measures for setting intensity.
Led by Paul Firth, one of the Lecturing team who is also an Exercise Physiologist, delegates reported enjoying the balance between theory and practical covered in the day. Delegates attended from around the region and were all from a physiotherapy background. They stated they "benefited greatly from gaining more knowledge and awareness when prescribing exercise for an individual" and will use this in their future clinical practice.
Meanwhile SHAR look forward to offering other study days in the autumn. Watch this space.....!
