Promotions to Senior Lectureships
Linda Chesterton & Lesley Rimington
The School would like to congratulate Dr Linda Chesterson, Director of Postgraduate Programmes and Dr Lesley Rimington, Director of Undergraduate Programmes, on their recent promotions to Senior Lecturer. Linda has worked in the School since 2001 and has contributed to a wide range of activities including the expansion of PGT and the development of e-learning. She has received two Excellence in Teaching Awards and, as a member of the Primary Care Science Research Institute, is currently principal investigator on a £260K research grant studying elbow pain. Lesley was also appointed to the School in 2001 and has undertaken various senior management roles within the School. She has a high profile as a professional in the field of Respiratory Care on the British Thoracic Society group that has developed new guidelines for the care of patients with asthma and contributing to the NHS concensus website Map-of-Medicine.
