Wrist and hand anatomy and post-operative management following upper limb arthroplasty

- What are the key muscle groups?
- The role of the thumb
- Linking anatomy to function
- Discuss post op management of Shoulder and Wrist arthroplasty
Physiotherapy and other Therapy Assistants/ Technical Instructors/ Associate Practitioners are welcome to join the 2nd year Physiotherapy Students in this overview session exploring the anatomy and function of the wrist and hand. The session will then focus on physiotherapy management following upper limb joint replacement surgery. This session will be held in the School of Health and Rehabilitation at Keele University.
