Responses and Adaptations to Physical Activity

Main aims:
- Identify the physiological responses at the onset of physical activity and reason the mechanisms underpinning these responses
- Identify the physiological adaptations to endurance training and discuss why these adaptations occur
- Discover how these responses and adaptations may change in different populations
For those individuals prescribing activity who want more information on how and why physical activity has an impact on the physiology of the body.? Can be applied to clinical practice to if using cardiovascular training as an intervention in rehabilitation / progression of exercise training. This session will be held in the School of Health and Rehabilitation at Keele University.
