Soft Tissue Injuries

Main aims:
- To discuss elbow anatomy
- To review of the role / benefits of massage for the treatment of Soft Tissue Injuries
- To learn how to apply massage techniques for the treatment of Soft Tissue Injuries (Deep Transverse Frictions and Specific Soft Tissue Mobilisation)
Band 5 Physiotherapists & physiotherapy/other therapy assistants/technical instructors/assistant practitioners are welcome to join the 2nd Year Physiotherapy Students in this overview session discussing and demonstrating management of soft tissue injuries, with specific focus on management of the elbow joint. This session will be held in the School of Health and Rehabilitation at Keele University.
