Postural Control & Motor Co-ordination
28 January 2013 11:00-12:30 13:30-15:30 MacKay Building, School of Health and Rehabilitation, Keele University
Main aims:
- An introduction to how we produce movement & the factors which influence this
- An introduction to how therapists assess posture & balance
- An understanding of what assessment tools can be used to measure posture & balance
Physiotherapy & other therapy assistants/technical instructors/assistant practitioners are welcome to join the 1st year physiotherapy students in this theory session and the follow up practical sessions exploring controlling, coordinating & assessing movement. This session will be held in the School of Health and Rehabilitation at Keele University.
Monday 28th January 2013
- 11:00-12:30 On-Line Lecture viewed in the School
- 13:30-15:30 Practical session exploring analysis & assessment of balance & posture
