Entry Routes & How to Apply
6-year MBChB with Health Foundation Year (course code A104)
The Health Foundation Year is designed for those who have not studied the A-level science subjects required for application to the 5-year programme. Upon successful completion of the Foundation Year, students will enter the first year of the A100 course.
The modules studied include Chemistry, Human Biology, Communication Skills, Maths and ICT.
Unfortunately, applications will not be considered from those who have applied to Keele for direct entry into medicine and been unsuccessful.
For more information, take a look at our Health Foundation Year pages.
All applicants to course A104 must sit the UKCAT test in the year of application. Please use the UKCAT website to research the registration deadline for the test as we cannot consider an application if UKCAT has not been taken for any reason.
