February Interviews

Please note that interviews in the week commencing 4^th February will take place in the Sustainability Hub, not in the School of Medicine building. The Sustainability Hub is directly in front of you as you enter the university campus through the main entrance. If you are travelling by bus from Stoke-on-Trent, please get off at the first bus stop on the university campus and walk back towards the main entrance: the Sustainability Hub will be on your right at the second mini-roundabout.

Candidates should note that due to the nature of multiple mini-interviews it is extremely important to arrive on time. If you are running late or cannot travel due to adverse weather conditions please contact us on 01782 733937 as soon as possible. Those arriving late cannot be guaranteed a further interview as this depends upon vacant slots. However, we will do our best to accommodate candidates when possible.

Only in exceptional circumstances we would take the decision to cancel an interview session. If this is the case, we would telephone or email candidates beforehand.

At Keele University Medical School we assess every application that comes in and Admissions Staff and Tutors are gradually working their way through the 2000+ applications that we have received for Medicine at Keele for 2013. Obviously this can take some time. Please do not worry if you have not heard from us, it could be February or March before we get in touch; this is quite normal.

We will be sending out interview invitations shortly for February dates. In total we aim to interview about 500 candidates between December and March. When we call candidates for interview it is not an indication as to their likelihood of being offered a place. Places are offered on the basis of performance at interview. Further details of the interview format have now been posted below.

Please note that we do not anticipate making any offers until February at the earliest and therefore should like to thank those applicants interviewed in December for their patience. We shall not be participating in the 3rd February Visit Day. However applicants holding offers will be able to visit us Wednesday 20 February, Saturday 9th March or Saturday 23 March 2013. Additional mini visit days are planned for early April.
