Vision
To produce an internationally recognised portfolio of educational research in understanding and changing clinical behaviours
Strategy
- Development of strategic and transparent collaborations within the Medical School, and with wider University Research Institutes, partner organisations and academic communities
- Creation and development of a research community for education researchers focused on integrated theoretical and empirical research within themes of common interest
- Steering group to co-ordinate strategy implementation

To work within chosen themes of research. These are: Understanding and changing clinical behaviours through research activities focused on judgement and feedback and social processes and interactions in healthcare
Guide for new or potential researchers in Medical Education
Aims
1. To provide a research group through an online profile for Education Researchers connected to the Medical School
2. To maximise potential of existing resources (people / materials) to develop a coherent approach to medical education research at Keele
3. To train future medical education researchers through support for academic development through faculty research and studentships
4. To construct a deliverable programme of research in the chosen themes
5. To successfully bid for local, national and international funding
6. To raise the profile of the Medical School as a source of high quality work published in peer reviewed journals
