Network Quota
Your HallsNet connection is covered by a network traffic monitoring system that will rate limit your connection if you start to use too much data at once.
This means that the faster you use data, the slower your internet connection will get.
It works by giving you a quota bank that will hold a maximum of just over 2GB. More quota is fed into this bank at a rate of just under 2MB a minute. It is when you use up this quota and your balance goes into debit that your internet slows down. This is to allow your balance time to recover. If you stop using the internet, it will recover more quickly.
Remember that you can monitor your network traffic usage using a variety of applications some of which are available at Softpedia. We have tested a few out and we found the easiest to use are Networx or ShaPlus.
