Learning about Sustainability at Keele

save planet At Keele we are aiming to ensure that sustainability is embedded into the curriculum and co-curriculum opportunities and experiences of every student that studies here.

Keele offers:

  • Unrivalled opportunities to learn about sustainability whether through sustainability-focussed undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
  • Sustainability ‘free elective’ modules available to all 1st year undergraduate students or related to their own degree programme.
  • Sustainability-related volunteering opportunities.
  • Discipline-specific sustainability-related material delivered throughout their degree programme.

The 600 acre campus also provides opportunities for students and staff to learn more about the environment and sustainability,  whether through the highly regarded self-guided or regular guided arboretum walks, or learning about the sustainable technologies used at Keele and exemplified at the Sustainability Hub and other areas around campus.
