FAQ's
What do I need to do now?
-
Access your eVision account and check that the email address we have stored for you is correct. Ceremony invitations are sent out via email so you must ensure that we have your most current email address. You can update your contact details via your eVision account. Please be aware that Keele student accounts (and eVision) close 28 days after your course ends so please contact IT Services should you need to re-open your eVision account (details below).
How will I be notified?
- You will be notified of your ceremony date and time by email.
- Once you receive your invitiation, you must log on to eVision and register.
Who do I contact if I have any questions about graduation?
For any queries about your graduation ceremony (including confirming your attendance and guest tickets) please contact the Graduation Office on 01782 734206 or by email to: gradoffice@keele.ac.uk
To re-open your eVision account to respond to your invitation, please contact IT Services by email to: it.service@keele.ac.uk or by calling 01782 733838. *Please note, if your eVision account expired over 12 months ago IT Services will be unable to re-open it so you will need to contact the Graduation Office to amend your invitation record manually.
For any questions regarding your certificate and transcripts please contact your School Office directly.
Is registration difficult?
No, when you receive your e-invite you will be instructed to access your eVision account. Once you are logged on successfully, you will be guided through the online registration process. We are here to help, so don’t hesitate to contact the Graduation Office for guidance.
What if I don't want to attend my ceremony in person; do I still need to register?
Yes, all invited students must register whether you plan to attend your ceremony or not.
You can register: 1) to be awarded ‘in person’, 2) to be awarded ‘in absentia’, or 3) to be re-invited to a ‘future’ set of ceremonies. If you ignore the registration process and do not reply with one of these choices, your ceremony status will automatically default to award you ‘in absentia’ and you will subsequently be unable to request to attend a future congregation for this award.
Please note:
*Your ceremony date and time is not transferrable or negotiable.
