Welcome to the Graduate School

Developing your Research Skills and Knowledge

The Graduate School coordinates central training development and provides support for postgraduate researchers (PGRs) across the University.  We work closely with the Research Institutes to ensure that you are equipped to do the highest quality research during your time at Keele and have the skills required for a successful career, in whatever chosen field.    We are involved in the complete PGR life cycle, from the initial application enquiry through to the final award.

The facilities, activities and events available are varied and aimed at all stages of your research degree, enabling you to select development suited to your individual needs.

Postgraduate Research Student Induction -We would like to welcome all new Postgraduate Research Students to Keele University and our vibrant postgraduate community.

The Graduate School Induction programme complements those provided by your Research Institute enabling you to interact with PGR students from different disciplines. The programme is designed to inform you about the organisation, management and administration of Postgraduate Research at Keele, and to introduce the support and services available to help you make the most of your time at Keele.

Skills Development - is open to all PGR students at Keele. The purpose of Skills Development is to give you the opportunity to expand your generic research skills and personal transferable skills. These skills are intended to help your research at Keele and also to enhance your life skills and employability.
