Administration for Postgraduate Research Students

The majority of administration on postgraduate research programmes at Keele is undertaken by the four Research Institutes. The Planning & Academic Administration (PAA) Directorate supports the RIs in this work. In addition the Directorate services the Research Degree Committee (which is responsible for ratifying decisions from the RI Postgraduate Committees) and the Postgraduate Research Committee (which develops policy and overall strategy relating to the University's PGR student community). The examination process for all doctoral and MPhil students is also adminsitered jointly by the RI with PAA.
