Guilia in lake district Giulia Di Mascio, a visiting MSc student from the University of Polimi, Milan Italy, will shortly be returning to Italy. She has been undertaking her Masters level research here at Keele for the last 4 months, as part of a collaborative agreement with her University to host Keele MSc in Geosciences with International Placement students.

Giulia's research is continuing the long-term monitoring of simulated clandestine graves of murder victims, here on campus, which is aiming to improve the current low burial detection rates.

Pictured is Giulia collecting magnetic data in the Southern Lake District with our 4th year M.Geoscience students.
