XRF used to examine staining on exhumed human skeletons
Forensic science academics from Staffs University visited this week, undertaking a collaborative forensic geoscience research project.
Recent forensic geophysical surveys undertaken by Dr Jamie Pringle in the local area have allowed exhumations of unmarked burials and the resulting skeletons have shown unusual staining.
Qualitative analysis using GGE's portable XRF equipment may enable us to understand what is happening to these bones. Watch this space!
