Geophysics team wins teaching award
The Geophysics team comprising Drs Ian Stimpson, Nigel Cassidy and Jamie Pringle, from the School of Physical and Geographical Sciences were recipients of the University's Teaching Excellence Awards for 2011-12.
The team's application impressed the assessment panel with both the individual strengths of each team member and their collective commitment and reflective approach to support students on their modules and programmes.
