Henry dick Dr Jamie Pringle has recently returned, with AEG  colleagues, from fieldwork in East Cheshire, undertaking a commercial near-surface geophysical survey.

This project was commissioned by the Brine Compensation Board, in order to research the origins of recently appeared topographic depressions in rural areas, whether they may be of glacial origin, due to manmade brine pumping, or some other cause, which may be able to be determined by a combination of near-surface geophysical methods.
