LICENSING

How can I use Futureproof in my area?
Futureproof is currently available only to schools in Stoke and Staffordshire, but we are keen to extend its use nationally. We are therefore offering Futureproof to other HEIs and Aimhigher regions under licence.

What does the licence allow me to do?
The licence allows you to distribute the product to schools throughout your region.

There is also the opportunity to purchase a more in-depth licence which allows you to adapt the content of the Futureproof package to your local needs - for example, to change information or video clips. We do not allow branding of the product under the licensing agreement, as Futureproof is intended as a guide to universities in general and as an aspirational tool and not as a marketing method for your HEI. We also ask to have some involvement to ensure quality standards are maintained.

What does it cost?
The licence for distribution is £1000 plus VAT and the cost of copies.

If you wish to adapt the product, the cost of the licence is negotiable with Dr Sarah Hatfield at Keele, but is considerably cheaper than producing your own CD-ROM resource. You would also need to meet the costs associated with any changes to the program or packaging.

How can I find out more?
Please contact us at Keele for more information.
