Up to two prizes awarded for best overall performance in the 1st year of the Forensic Science degree programme. PRIOR award a cheque for £50, and PEARSON EDUCATION award a book token of value £50

2nd Year ‘Best Student’ Prizes

Up to four prizes awarded for best overall performance in the 2nd year of the Forensic Science degree programme. THERMO and VARIAN award cheques for £50 to two students. The School of Physical and Geographical Sciences awards up to two book tokens of £30 value

3rd Year ‘Best Analytical Science Student’ Prize – Sponsored by WATERS

Awarded at the end of the final year of study to a Forensic Science student who has excelled in Analytical Science.  Module marks will be taken from taught modules that have a principally (chemical) analytical theme, over the three years of the degree programme. The present value of the prize is £100

3rd Year ‘Best Analytical Project’ Prize – Sponsored by ASTRAZENECA

Awarded at the end of the final year to a student studying Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Forensic Science or Environmental Sciences who has produced the Best Final Year Project having principally an analytical theme (carried out within the Chemical Sciences).  The present value of the prize is £50
