Dr Linda Ahall of the ESU along with Laura J Shepherd from University of New South Wales, Australia has edited a groundbreaking collecting of essays which has been published by Palgrave Macmillan. Entitled Gender, Agency and Political Violence , the collection explores the conditions, maintenance and interpretation of political violence. Authors analyze the multiple ways in which acts (and perpetrators) of violence, strategies of resistance and efforts at conflict resolution are gendered.
