For Prospective Postgraduate Students
The Research Institute for the Environment, Physical Sciences and Applied Mathematics (EPSAM) provides a multidisciplinary environment to support research and enterprise in the environmental sciences, physical sciences and mathematics at Keele University.
We welcome enquiries from well-qualified graduates throughout the year. Funding is not guaranteed, but is available in many cases, whether it is an externally-funded studentship or Keele-funded fee waiver, full or part-time studentship. Information on current research interests of staff, potential project titles and details of the application process, are given for each discipline:
Research training is a vital part of postgraduate studies. The Research Training Programme is organised centrally by the Graduate School, with EPSAM providing a number of modules aimed at students in the Natural Sciences as well as a compulsory EPSAM training module.
