This project will use the technique of defocussed photometry to obtain high-precision light curves of planetary transit events. These will be analysed using JKTEBOP and other codes in order to precisely determine the physical properties of transiting extrasolar planetary systems. This in turn will lead to scientific insights into the formation, evolution, and atmospheric and internal structure of planets orbiting other stars.
