Roy Fisher Prize

Roy Fisher The Roy Fisher Prize for Poetry is a poetry pamphlet prize for current students of Keele University. It is endowed by Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy. The endowment lasts for the ten years of her Laureateship - 2010-2020, and is named in honour of Roy Fisher, the Midlands poet who has a long association with Keele University.

The Winner of the 2012-13 Prize 

The winner of the 2012-13 prize is Gwendoline Smith. The judges described her work as "full of imagination and impact, with deft control and a stern, strange wit."

The call for submissions for the 2013-14 prize will be made in Autumn 2013.
