If you are interested in becoming a teacher and already have a degree, the following School Direct subjects are available:

- General Science (training bursaries may be available dependent upon your adacemic profile and subject specialism).

Degree classification of a minimum of 2.2 in a relevant discipline.
GCSE in Mathematics and English Language Grade C or above (equilvalency tests may be offered in particular circumstances).
Prior recent and relevant experience in a UK Secondary school .
All candidates applying for 2013 entry to Secondary School Direct will need to sit Professional Skills tests in English (Literacy) and Mathematics (Numeracy) prior to starting the programme.
For the SD (Salaried) route, you must have three years of work experience (not necessarily in an educational setting) to be eligible to apply.
