Keele University Asia Programmes

‘Study in Asia’

Are you living and working in Asia but would be interested in doing a Keele University Postgraduate Degree? If so, then we may have the programme for you.

Keele University now offers a range of programmes designed to meet the needs of teachers and educational professionals working in East Asia, South East Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.

Programmes available are:

MBA Education (International): suitable for current and aspiring leaders and managers in international education.

PGCE (International): suitable for in-service teachers and aspiring teachers seeking certification in international schools

MA Education (International): advanced programme for teachers in international schools, colleges, universities and private training agencies.

Doctorate in Education (Ed.D): designed for educational professionals working in international schools, universities, colleges or private agencies.

Advanced Professional Development Programme: designed for leaders, managers, administrators and teachers, working, or intending to work in International Schools or Universities in Asia.

These part-time semi-distance learning programmes each consist of just a few weekends attendance at Harrow International School, Bangkok.

The MBA Education (International) was launched in May 2010 and was quickly followed in November 2012 with the PGCE (International). With over 60 students already enrolled and studying, these two innovative Keele programmes clearly suit many educational professionals working in Asia. The MA in Education (International) is a new programme and its first intake starts in October 2013..

The mix of distance learning and taught weekend delivery, combined with the truly international character of the student cohorts (18 different nationalities at last count), makes for a highly stimulating and unique professional development environment.   The Keele Asia programmes are highly regarded within international schools and we have course members from many of the leading school organisations in Asia, including Harrow, Dulwich, Patana, NIST, Nord Anglia, Cognita, Delia, Columbia, British International Schools, ELC, Brighton College and ACG.
