Distinctive Academic Curriculum
Your academic subject, called a programme, will allow you develop both your subject knowledge and a range of complimentary capabilities which you will find of value throughout life.
At undergraduate study, the Distinctive Academic Curriculum offers a wide range of subject combinations including single/major/ minor/dual honours routes.
Outside of those programmes with professional and regulatory subject requirements, the degree structure allows you to pursue other academic interests by incorporating other topics, called modules, as part of your own tailor-designed degree. This is the electives system.
Keele also has one of the largest international exchange schemes in the country, known as Study Abroad. You can choose to study for a semester or two (a semester is half an academic year) at a partner institution in Europe, Asia, South Africa, Australia, Canada or United States of America.
