Conference's highlights include:
- Keynote lectures by
Lawrence Kramer and Trevor Wishart
- Plenary sessions 'After
the avant-garde?' and 'Narrativity in Twentieth-Century Music'
- Two electro-acoustic
concerts, a recital for soprano and piano, and three
lecture-recitals
- Wine reception,
champagne reception, and conference banquet
- Full board and ensuite
accomodation available on Keele's rural campus, set in 600 acres
of parkland
- Papers and compositions
by over 120 participants from all around the world, exploring an
incredible diversity of music and issues
