Lieve is course convenor of the elective Law, Media and Popular Culture module. She also teaches public law and is a member of the GSHR LLM teaching team.

Lieve’s main research area focuses on representations of law in media and popular culture. She is currently researching a project entitled ‘The Home That Rights Built: Media, Cultural Change and Belonging in the First Decade of the Human Rights Act’. She is also the organiser of the Justice, Media and Public conferences. The next conference will be held at Keele on 25-26 March 2010.
