What is in it for me?

To document your learning you are expected to keep a reflective portfolio. This portfolio is called the Keele University Skills Portfolio (KUSP) and is hosted on PebblePad. You can also find PebblePad on the Development Strand module on the KLE (see above). For help and support on PebblePad see the help pages.

Fill in reflections (called assets) on PebblePad, package them together to form a webfolio and send them off to you Personal Tutor. At your meeting with your Personal Tutor you will discuss your academic, personal and professional development. If they are satisfied with your work they will ‘sign off’ your KUSP and you will receive your certificate at the end of your studies at Keele!

If you complete at least 6 reflections, each a minimum of 500 words, that are tagged as ‘ILM’ on PebblePad you can qualify for additional recognition for your work from The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) who accredit the Development Strand. This additional certification is recognised by potential employers as evidence of your commitment to academic, personal and professional development. Your ILM KUSP can also count towards other ILM awards which you may take later in life.
