As a Criminology student, you can make use of the Student Life and Learning Team . The Service can provide complementary support in a range of areas, such as referencing, essay planning and writing, exam revision and techniques, time management, motivation, confidence-building, seminar skills, and research skills.

The University also has a comprehensive Student Support and Development Service (SSDS). You can see an Adviser in SSDS about your study skills, as well as on disability matters and academic guidance issues, such as changing your programme or appeals against academic decisions. 

International students who require support with their academic studies can also make use of the English Language Unit's facilities and services. The English Language Unit is located within the Language Learning Unit.
