Pink Shell - Keele University
prunus autumnalis

Keele University Arboretum

Prunus 'Pink Shell'

A seedling of uncertain origin but one of the loveliest of cherries.

A small elegant tree with slender spreading branches drooping beneath a wealth of cup shaped delicate shell-pink blossoms at the same time as pale green emerging leaves in early April.
