Prunus 'Pink Giant'

A seedling of Prunus 'Okame'. Upright vigorous growth. Produces dark-pink single flowers with red calyxes in April-May. Small tree, conical habit, very graceful 8-10 m high. Superb small leaves, finely toothed elongated petioles of whom the petioles, veins and young shoots are tinged red.
