Prunus 'Matsumae'

Selected by Mr Masatoshi Asari in 1963 from seedlings of Prunus 'Ito-kukuri' . Named by Ohwi in 1963 as 'Matsumae', having formerly been called 'Matsumae No. 18'. (Hokkaido).
