‌Promoting Learner Engagement

Keele Hall, Keele University - Friday 28th June 2013

 
This year's day conference took place on Friday 28th June.  During registration, delegates were entertained by the orchestra of St John's CE Primary School, Keele.  The Vice-Chancellor, Nick Foskett, then gave the opening address for this event, welcoming leaders of schools and representatives of educational institutions to the University.
 
Presentations addressing the issue of promoting learner engagement in schools were given by Professor Michael Fielding (Institute of Education), Professor Tom Billington (University of Sheffield), Professor Sue Hallam (Institute of Education), and Dr Elizabeth Sidwell (former Schools Commissioner).   For further details, including a copy of their presentation, please click on the speaker's name below:
