Aims
The module aims to introduce research methods in and for social work, whilst also developing a research-minded approach to students' professional and academic development. The module will support students to understand and begin to critique the main quantitative and qualitative research approaches drawn upon within social work.

1: Report weighted 100%2000-word report2,000-word assignment which assesses the value of quantitative and qualitative research for social work practice with a particular service user group.
