This module is designed to offer essential quantitative skills useful for undergraduate core courses in the Business School and for analysis of quantitative business-related information.
Aims
The aim of this module is to familiarise students with the tools and techniques useful both for developing models, and for then analysing and presenting data to represent the models. Some key techniques and tools of quantitative data analysis will be explored.

Description of Module Assessment
1: Online Tasks weighted 60%2 hours computer-based testThis is a 2-hour on-line computer-based test that will cover the whole module syllabus. The test will be available on the KLE for 24-hours for students to answer and submit their answers. Students will be informed that they will have 24-hour access to their computer-based test, but once they start the test they should finish and submit their answers in 2-hours, otherwise the KLE will submit their answer automatically. Answers should be as accurate and concise as possible.
2: Class Test weighted 40%The assessment represents a 50-minute on-line computer testThe on-line class test comprising short exercise type questions that will cover the syllabus of the first half of the module.
