This module introduces students to social work with children and families which is partly linked to a second year module which extends this knowledge further. The first of two modules (the second of which falls in year two, Level 5, of the programme), provides students with the underpinning knowledge and skills necessary to qualify as a social worker.
Aims
This module provides the underpinning knowledge required in children and families social work and the service delivery context (law, policy and practice).
