Information for Ethnic Minorities
All the services that the Careers and Employability Service offers are available to students – our Statement of Service gives full details of these. As an ethnic minority student, however, you can also access targeted resources and opportunities that might be valuable for your career planning and progression.
In the Careers and Employability Centre we have a publication entitled Diversity Matters; Race which we are happy to copy for you. This publication includes identifying employers, top tips for applications and case studies. See below for additional useful information:
Internship/mentoring schemes

Association of Muslim Lawyers www.aml.org.uk includes an online directory of Muslim Lawyers who practise Shari’ah law as well as UK law.

Society of Asian Lawyers www.societyofasianlawyers.org Provides a network of Asian lawyers for potential contacts.
