Application Deadlines 2013/14

Careers and Employability is often asked questions about application deadlines for postgraduate courses and graduate training schemes. Below you will find information on these with a list of some of the popular schemes or programmes which students or graduates apply to.

Applying for graduate training programmes

Many graduate employers have specific closing dates for their graduate training schemes.  With some of these occurring as early as October and November (especially in finance) it can be easy to miss out. If you are aiming to apply to a particular employer be sure to check their website from early September 2013 onwards (for vacancies starting summer 2014). However, some graduate employers now recruit throughout the year and no longer have a specific closing date.  

Careers and Employability will receive copies of the Prospects, Guardian, Targetjobs and Times Top 100 graduate directories which detail the graduate training schemes commencing 2014. These are free and can be collected from Careers and Employability Centre in the Walter Moberly Building from late September 2013.

It is not always possible to give precise dates for when applications should be made or when deadlines occur.  Please treat the dates below cautiously, they are best used as a guide only. It is important you check the precise dates with the relevant organisation.
