What is ‘Rewards’?

‘Rewards’ is Keele University’s way of saying ‘thank you’ to businesses that choose us for their continuing professional development (CPD) training needs. It is a suite of ‘rewards’ that businesses can redeem from the University, either during the time of their CPD training or up to three-months after the training has been completed.

Who is eligible for Rewards?

Any business, large or small, who takes up one or more of our continuing professional development (CPD) training courses, is eligible for Rewards. This includes a tailor-made short course specifically for your business needs or one of our off-the-shelf accredited courses such as our Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership & Management.

Note: Rewards must be redeemed from the University during the time of the CPD training or up to three-months after the training.

What are the rewards?

1. Complimentary Lunch for four at Terrace Restaurant, Keele Hall: Within the majestic confines of Keele Hall, enjoy a complimentary 3-course lunch for four people at Terrace Restaurant.

2. The Impressive Keele Hall: Preferential conference and event rates for all businesses that are eligible for Rewards. Keele Hall is a premium conferencing and events venue with the capacity to host events for up to 400 people and banquets for up to 600 guests and all within the impressive hall that dates back to 1580. Additional features include free Wi-Fi, audio-visual technical support and ample parking.

3. The Keele Management Centre: Preferential conference and event rates for all businesses that are eligible for Rewards. This venue is perfect for company away days and team-building days.

4. Complimentary Use of Keele’s Tennis Courts: Three-hours use of Keele’s outdoor tennis court. Access is granted to one of our tennis courts. Whilst we will make every effort to accommodate your preferred times/dates, this will be subject to availability.

5. Keele University Public Lectures: Attend our inaugural lectures delivered by our established professors and hear illuminating accounts of their research and subject specialism and their relevance to contemporary society. Past lectures have covered themes such as the impact of social media on knowledge sharing and also cultures of management within organisations.  The lectures are a great way of accessing the academic community and understanding the importance of the research undertaken at Keele University. One of our representatives will be present to personally greet you and your employees/business clients upon confirmation of your attendance.

How could Rewards be used to benefit my business?

The rewards can be used to benefit your employees and your business clients. For example, you could redeem the rewards to entertain your business clients at a discount, at Keele Hall making full use of our catering and facilities expertise.

At a later stage you might wish to hold a company away day for your employees at Keele Management Centre.

How many rewards can I redeem?

As long as the rewards are redeemed within the allotted time, you can redeem all five. But each one can only be redeemed once for each CPD course taken with Keele University.

What CPD training does Keele University offer?

Keele University is nationally and internationally acclaimed for its academic expertise. It is through this expertise that we are able to assist businesses in the development of their workforce. We offer both accredited and non-accredited courses and can develop bespoke training tailored to your business needs.
