PharmSci Nottingham - September 2012

Gayle Pearson presented on "Improving the oral bioavailability of pharmaceuticals through PepT1 targeting" at the 2012 PharmSci meeting in Nottingham.

Welcome to Gayle - October 2010

Gayle Pearson joins the group to work on the design and synthesis of drug carrier molecules to improve oral bioavailability of pharmaceuticals via the PepT1 transporter.  Gayle's PhD is supported by a CASE studentship from AstraZeneca.

Welcome to Ravindra - February 2010

Ravindra Pathak joins the group to continue our research on peptide transporters. Ravindra was previously at the University of St Andrews, where he worked in the field of chemical genetics.

Welcome to Mark and Samantha - September 2009

Mark Cresswell joins the group to start a PhD on "stereoselective routes to medicinally important indole alakoids" Mark has just completed his MChem at the University of Manchester, including a MChem project with Prof. Jim Thomas. We also welcome Samantha Fallon as a joint student between our group and the Allin group. Sam completed her BSc here at Keele University.
